The Luso-american Foundaton (FLAD) launched on the 7th of October the Study in Portugal Network (SiPN) which is an academic mobility programme for North American students and of Portuguese descent. This initiative aims to promote, in North America Portuguese higher education excellence and Portugal as a study destination, as well as the relevance of the country and of the Portuguese language. In a first phase the programme will start with 4 Lisbon Universities: University of Lisbon, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Catholic University of Portugal and the ISCTE-University Institute of Lisbon.
Among the entities that support this indicative is the Portuguese Ministry for Education and Science.
