With the aim of promoting and improving the communication among the different entities that deal with recognition of foreign higher education degrees and diplomas, the Directorate General for Higher Education created, recently, a National Network for the Recognition of Higher Education Foreign Qualifications.
The main objetives of this Network are to harmonize procedures; disseminate good practices on recognition of foreign qualifications, share materials developed within various networks; boost new partnerships for activities and projects; disseminate the activities of the ENIC/NARIC network, particularly those of the Portuguese NARIC Centre; collaborate in the preparation of publications, information materials, surveys, studies and research activities on recognition and contribute to problem solving and better information provision.
