On the 2nd July the European Alliance for Apprenticeships was launched by the European Commissioners for Education and Employment. This initiative that aims to tackle youth unemployment and improve the quality and supply of apprenticeships throughout Europe, by establishing a broad partnership between key education and employment stakeholders.
The measures promoted by the Alliance will be supported by the European Social Fund, the Youth Employment Initiative and by the new European Programme for education, training and youth, “Erasmus+”.
