In order to contribute to a better understanding of the level and nature of the foreign qualifications brought to the ENIC-NARIC Centres and facilitate their comparability, the SCAN-D project, financed by the European Commission, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Program (Action 3 – Support of policy reforms) was launched in July 2014 and concluded last September. The main goal of this project was to collect samples of diplomas/certificates issued by the Higher Education Institutions of the 15 countries, including PT NARIC as one of the partners.
The database created for this purpose collected about 2.200 samples from Higher Education Institutions of the partner countries, such as Belarus, Belgium (FL), Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovenia, Spain, New Zealand, Portugal and The Netherlands.
This new and important database will certainly benefit the daily work of all ENIC/NARIC Centres once they can access the database and easily obtain the information that they need within the recognition process.
