The conference Towards a European Area of Skills and Qualifications was held on 17 June, in Brussels, where the European Commission presented the results of the public consultation on the creation of a European area of skills and qualifications.
The objective of this event was to gather information on the main problems that affect workers and students, with regard to transparency and recognition of their skills and qualifications.
It is worth enhancing that the results presented by the European Commission show that there is a need to support mobility both in work and education, employment and quality education and modernization of education systems.
